Yep, he is that bad. He is one of those teachers that makes everyone in class to stand up and have this conversation at the beginning of class:
Him-”bonjour mademoiselle”
Us-”bonjour monsieur”
Him- “comment allez-vous?”
Us-(no matter how we’re feeling) “Très bien, merci. Et vous?”
Him- Très bien *signals us to sit*
He thinks everyone learns the same way by boring book reading and copying from workbooks. Oh and he also sets us loads of homework. He is also really ignorant and old fashioned. URHHHHHH!! He makes me want to lear german(i don’t really its just a inside joke 
)

My French class is almost exactly like yours! The only thing is that we don’t have to stand up and our teacher is a lady.

I’m a French teacher and I don’t make my students do that. He should, really make you do different dialogues, this one gets boring once you know how to do the greetings!
