We’re so much better than Mandy and Miley. We’re such ledgends!

Oh boredom.

I didn’t plan on posting today, because I didn’t think I was going to do anything other than watch day time television and eat scotch fingers. But boredom and sadness got the better of me (well not really I finished a packet of scotch fingers and finished the mid-day movie), I went shopping with my mum on Smith St, well I didn’t plan on shopping either, I thought I might pop over to my dad’s shop and say hi and I finished his packet of scotch fingers. But my mum realized she finished her eye cream and needed more because if she stopped using it she would immediately get more wrinkles (it’s all in her head) so I agreed to go to In Essence (posh, organic, expensive salon). After buying a tub of ‘express eyelift eye serum’ and a bottle of bergamot essential oil for me, we wondered around a bit and mum saw these Adidas samples and she asked me to try them on even though she knew I don’t like athletic shoes unless they were Stella McCartney but I knew what she was doing, she tries to get me to like something she likes, so she would feel less guilty when she buys it. So I said “Oh, you should buy them! We could share!” Afterwards I totally forgot I didn’t want to go shopping and I went to many shops, but mostly boutiques and vintage recyclers and I saw this really nice white quilted bag but it was too scratched at the back even though it was only $19 I didn’t buy it. I wish I had but I’m glad I didn’t (it makes sense to me). At this other vintage shop (Episode) I bought these nice and comfy black pants, wide legged and very simple.

As we were walking back to our car we went passed the Bendon factory outlet, goodness knows I love my Elle Macpherson underwear and they we’re having a sale “buy 5 items (excludes sale items) and get 50% off your purchase” and yes I fell for it and bough quiet a lot of stuff, it felt really good, retail therapy kinda works, until you get the $$$ guilt.

When we we’re walking to our car we swore we wouldn’t buy anything except for necessities for the next week and to make ourselves feel better we’re going to go to the library and read books, and that exactly what we did.
