Just to get this clear and out there, you know? Incase ‘Sophie’ from the age is reading this (that piece about Bianca was utterly stupid). This is just a wish list, people can dream and fantasize, maybe you should dream a little instead of answers to “I want to get some clothes for my daughter, she’s 13, and anything showing skin is unacceptable! Any suggestions?” with t-shirts from Supré and Roxy skirts. Poor little muzza kid.

hey, it’s not like I’m asking for a strand of princess cut diamonds…

Oh, my goodness I have never had so many mixed emotions about a fashion show. Let’s get one thing straight first I’m writing this before I read the review on style.com and TFS so no comments like “oh, you copied off ___________(insert website here)”. This show was kind of ’late’, it was about 3 or 4 weeks ago when the other resort shows or collections were shown but never the less it’s still considered a resort show. I just can’t help but feel a touch of disappointment, the collection was really similar to the ss07 collection (paisley print, shift style dresses and Grecian princess feel) mixed with fw08 collection (hippy lux and 70’s Jane Birkin style) and the hair and makeup was pretty much exactly the same as fw08 (tossed waves, nude lip and dark eyes). But I love Gucci, I love the Gucci woman, I love the Gucci power, I’d love to work for Gucci. The show wasn’t groundbreaking but it real fitted under the category of ‘resort’ unlike Dior, Oscar De La Renta and Alexander McQueen. The simple white pants (ok fine I’d never wear white pants, I look like an elephant in a white suit), the paisley print shift, printed blouses and Grecian dresses. The selection of models were fantastic! Natasha Poly, Lily Donaldson, Abbey Lee, Snejana Onopka, not to mention how beautiful the location looked! 4 stars (out of 5).

What a girl wants what a girl needs, is a pair of black pumps. Perfect for any occasion, from parties, to work even to just walk around the house in. Black pumps never go out of style and there are millions out there. Here are my favourites for this season:
Giuseppe Zanotti embellished Heel pumps
These are so ‘awesome’ not only are they silky and sexy, they have embellished heels! You could easily take these from work to party!
Christian Louboutin paillette pumps
Brings abit of glitz with out looking like the cast members of “priscilla”.
Christian Louboutin classic black pumps
Classic, simple, very wearable.
Stella McCartney fw07 pumps
It was love at first sight for me. A year ago this collection was shown and I’ve wanted a pair evern since. This is a great example of a shoe you ‘take a second’ look at. When you first glance at it, you see a fairly average shoe with nice texture, but then you see the beautiful heel, the fantastic two tones and the sculptural platform.
Go get ‘pumping’ girls!…. No… Don’t do that.
