I miss my quietmilk

As some of you might know my friend quietmilk (aka Bianca ), in fact you might have even gotten the link of my blog from her. Sadly has stopped blogging. It was so spontaneous I didn’t even know, but I understand why. I miss reading her blog, I miss writing strange, unpredictable and sometimes irrelevant also inappropriate comments. Quietmilk was my favorite blog, not just because her writing is superb and her ideas are original, but she’s also my best friend. I love you Quietmilk, I miss reading your blog, and yes, I’m just repeating what I said to you on the train 2 hours ago.

Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it.

Yes, that is a metro station song. But that’s not what I’m writing about. I’ll writing about good old “so you think you can dance?”. Ha! What a show. Seriously I love it. But every time I watch it I get a huge sense of guilt and disappointment, you see, I use to dance, I use to dance very well (ballet, contemporary, ballroom and latin). Two years ago I quit, all of them, because it was so hard juggling school, social life, fashion design and dancing. I really wish I hadn’t, I really wish I had gotten more organized and fitted everything in. Now I’m losing my flexibility and some of my co-ordination, I would love to get it back. But like I said to Bianca today, “worrying and complaining won’t bring it back”. -sigh-

I forgot

I forgot how hard it was to go to school and blog. Especially going to my school. With all our homework, my inability to see Bianca, my love of reading and my mum’s new office view  I can almost forget I have a blog. But I do, and I like blogging, so maybe I’ll blog less frequently. I miss sitting with my laptop and blogging for hours on end… and it’s only the 3rd day of school.

We love foreign languages.

My darling friend Phoebe is a lover of foreign languages, well she loves saying ‘interesting’ phrases in foreign languages. In the past 3 French classes she has learnt to say “take off your clothes, NOW!”, “I love you, in the pants”, “I want you”, “I want you, in the pants” in French and also “I want to have sex with you” in Japanese. Isn’t she a bright girl ;-) x
