Thought I’d share some of my favourite backstage snaps of the girls, wearing their pink robes, being beautiful and photographed endlessly. I’m so busy with buying books, for next year, selling books from this year, last minute homework, last minute speech night rehearsals, my fashion illustration course, I haven’t posted a good blog post in ages. Sorry guys… I’m going shopping tomorrow, maybe I’ll have a scoop for you then!

Victoria’s Secret ’08

I would just like to inform you that from mid november to mid december I go through my ‘victoria’s secret’ phase and all I do is talk about underwear, models and models in under wear. It’s late and I’ve had a crap day so I’m just going to post some pictures now, full commentary when I actually see the show. Right now I’m just obsessively posting on the fashion spot.

It was one of those weird, 4 seasons in one day, Melbourne day. But me, Bianca and Lisa journeyed our way to the city. We pretty much just wondered around, trying on expensive shoes and dresses. Not much happened when we were shopping, except I slipped and fell out the front of Ralph Lauren; what an impression I made! After lunch we found a lovely, dirty lane to take pictures with Lisa’s Polaroid camera, it was in the lane Bianca and Lisa made an ‘exciting’ discovery; red velvet love hearts, I thought it was gross. I mean it was on a dumpster, though, I have to admit, the photos that came out were amazing.

We ‘oohed and ahhed’ our way back down to degraves where we met Bianca’s friend Dylan. It was at Degraves where I had the best iced coffee and Bianca and Lisa saw who they have been looking for, for the whole day; Yvan from the face hunter. They got word that he was in Melbourne, and co-incidentally he was walking down Degraves st while we were sitting at one of the outdoor tables. I’ll run you through what I thought happened: I was sipping my ice coffee and listening to conversations half heartedly and all of a sudden Bianca said “OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!” and Lisa looked in the same general direction and she said something along the lines of “let’s get a picture!”. Only by this time did I realize they were talking about Yvan from the face hunter. I can’t recall much, but all I remember is me and Dylan in hysterics, because Bianca and Lisa were sprinting at full speed towards Yvan. When they came back they were so star struck Bianca had to be instructed to breathe.
After that crazy affair we decided it was time to go home, but before that we took some splendid black and white photo booth pictures. I have to say, I looked so bad in them! But it was fun. But for Bianca and Lisa, it was the best day of their lives.
