After watching the September Issue too many times I am absolutely in love with Anna’s assortment of printed shift dresses or just prints… I made a pencil skirt for my mum out of a lovely red, navy and white stretch cotton but she wore it once and decided she didn’t like it. I loved the print and I hate seeing fabric wasted so I took it in and up and now it’s mine!
I also picked up this lovely printed silk chiffon not long ago:
It’s very ‘garden in bloom’/'nana chic’ Wasn’t really sure what I would do with it before but expect something along the lines of this in the coming weeks (after the E-week next week and speech night, the school year’s pretty much over!)

I’ve seen that movie an unhealthy amount of times, I just can’t get enough. I love your sketch and shall keep following to see what becomes of it. Thanks os much for sharing.
Like Rachel Zoe would say “I DIE!” for both of those pieces! Like the above I can’t wait to see the dress!

that movie was definitely inspiring! i felt bad for anna though when she was talking about her family and how they kind of look down on her industry – she’s accomplished so much and is an incredibly influential and powerful figure!
very cute dress design – would love to see it irl!

I love that skirt! Well done you for making it.
I came away from The September Issue wanting those amazing gemstone necklaces that Anna had in, like, six different stones/colours. They were simply stunning.
My Dad’s a jeweler, so I’m working my way up to demanding he make me something of the sort.
Looking forward to the new dress too darling.

@Grant your dad’s a jeweler? Have I mentioned how much I love Lanvin-esque necklaces *cough* *cough* ahhahaa xxxx thanks
@amie the dress will be done sooner than I thought so yaay! I felt bad for Bee anna’s daugher. Anna wa trying to push her into becoming a editor, like a asian mum pushing their child to be a doctor. ahha
@Ellisa Thanks!
@Poppy ahh haven’t we all (5 times and counting, I just like to put it on while sewing or cooking)? My pleasure
@Georgina No problems it was my pleasure. Yes prints for summer, but tame it, nothing too wild or else you’ll look like walking wall paper
@FF Yes, color!
