Sorry for my lack of blogging, I’ve been really busy suffering from bad hayfever and heat exhaustion(Melbourne’s been hit with an Spring heatwave). But I’m happy to report I’m a little bit better now; hayfever is persistent and heat exhaustion can be avoided from staying out of the heat and keeping hydrated. Which for me means staying indoors as much as possible, so I started some sewing projects!
Black and white princess seam dress for my mum(nearly finished, still need to put the zip in):
Pleat front circle skirt for my mum (need to attach band and zip):
Altering this oversized striped top into something wearable:
Overlocking and finishing the armholes on this chiffon dress(yes, it’s nearly done!):
Making summery skirts out of these fabrics:
Paint splatter silk:
Navy and cream striped silk:

Hopefully I can finish these before the end of the month ahead of all the non-uniform days at school and party season for my mum. But here’s something handy for now! My lovely friend Lisa P from Sydney sent me this little package in exchange for one of my pasta bow necklaces(you might remember Lisa sent me another package a few months ago) containing the November issue of American Vogue, Victoria’s Secret Lipgloss to add to my collection(of 3), Kat Von D eyeliner and a postcard ; all from New York ! Thanks so much Lisa!
Take care of your selves guys, hydrate and stay out of the sun!
