Scent love

Being 15, it’s pretty hard to pin down your ‘signature scent’ so on the weekend I set out to buy some more perfumes for my ‘scent wardrobe’. I couldn’t just run into a department store and sniff every perfume, I did quite a bit of research based on perfumes and other scents that I love, ie. Miss Dior Cherie, MJ Daisy, Lancome Poeme, Ralph by Ralph Lauren and various Victoria’s Secret body sprays. Turns out I favour gourmand(food and dessert related) and Chypre (citrus and moss) fragrances with a patchouli base note and strong disliking for Oriental scents or anything too musky. I made a list and very soon I returned with CKIN2U (I’ve loved in2u ever since it came out in 2007, I had a bottle but I left it in China), Gucci by Gucci (the ad, Natasha poly, Raquel zimmerman and freja beha, need I say more?) and Juicy Couture (Hate their track suits but this perfume is just amazing, do you believe in love at first sniff?).
Packaging/the bottle is important for me too, one of the reasons why I love Miss Dior Cherie so much is the super cute glass bottle with a silver bow and MJ Daisy with the rubber daisies. I love the Juicy and Gucci bottles but CKIN2U is boring but I already knew that and it doesn’t matter!
Hehe a little family, I share some of it with my mum. I think Eau Mega by Victor and Rolf, Flora by Gucci another bottle of Miss Dior Cherie are next!

Prettty! I love perfume bottles and enjoy the delights of smelling you each morning to pick out what you’re wearing. Ohohoho!
This outfit looks gorgeous! Your skirt is really lovely – have you considered opening an online shop? I guess it’d be a lot of work on top of school to take on!
Love your perfume collection! Have you ever smelt D&G – the one rose? IT SMELLS AMAZINGGG. I really want to buy it, but don’t really need more perfume ahaha.
Take care! x
lol have i told you how funny you are? The problem with so many people is that they comment on a post without reading it. Cute lace jacket!

You’re a fantastic writer!
Those shoes are so adorable! First it was shoes and now I’m in love with your collection of perfumes too.
I really love oriental-mossy perfumes but it’s hard to resist marc jacobs daisy.
Ha ha ha ha ha! I wear Gucci by Gucci pour homme – we match! Sort of.
Love how the bright red pumps contrast the rest of the ensemble darling – you’re looking wonderful

That skirt you’ve made, as always, is beautiful. I love the volume of it.
Also, I just read your ‘about me’ it was really touching, good to see a 15yr old with amazing dreams.

Oh you should totally go to Kleins on Brunswick St. As long as you know what tones you like – as you said sweet dessert flavours – you talk to the staff and they have the most amazing and unusual collections. I just found my signature scent a few weeks ago from there and no one else wears it! I love it!
