Who wears short shorts?

I normally wouldn’t, unless they’re high waisted or I’m working out… Low slung, threadbare, denim ‘pocket shorts’ (shorts so short that you can see the end of the pockets?) are deeply unflattering on any one with a BMI higher than 19, even so they have to be worn right. I have one pair of high waisted shorts but they’re rather uncomfortable and a bit too tight, so I set out to make another!
Velvet button detail 
I love them paired with a blazer, Loubies, and Bayswater.
I just wish I put some pockets in them, there’s always next time.

when I can see the pockets sticking out… I think those are the bane of my existence. EVEN on super skinny people. It’s never ok.
I heard pants and shorts are really hard to make, were they? They looks splendid anyway!

and i so agree with you about those other shorts, my bff and i call it the miley cyrus look: short short denim shorts, keds, baggy singlet and hair in high pony tail.
When we go into town to go shopping we count how many girl we see wearing the “miley cyrus look”
Well done darling, you’ve made an incredibly flattering pair of shorts for yourself and proved to all those out there currently attempting to do the “No, I’m not trying to get myself sexually assulated; I’m on my way to a festival.” denim cutoff look that there is, in point of fact, a better way to DO shorts.

You certainly are very talented! These shorts are cute, and i love the dresses you have made as well. But most of all, I adore the skirt with the “flaps” you are wearing in one of the posts further down. I would pay serious money for a skirt like that! (But I don’t suppose you sell your designs do you??) It must be so much fun creating your own beautiful clothes!
