Newly acquired

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; there is nothing like the feeling of putting new stuff in your wardrobe. I like to think of my wardrobe as a house and all my garments as family members, making room and introducing new pieces to the old ones, putting them with others and hope they get along… Nah, that sounds insane, but could you imaging though? If clothes could talk , what would they say? Plaid skirt to polka dot top “sorry man, we’re over, it’s not you it’s me, I’ve been unfaithful with the white shirt, but you and those shorts look real good together” (wow, that sounds even more bat shit crazy). Moving on, I made a trip to Savers a while back and for once, I wasn’t disappointed! I found this lovely black lace dress with a nice, low U-back.

And a velvet jacket (great canvas to work on, I’m thinking a good altering so it’s more snug, white trim and new buttons?)
My aunt also recently visted us and HMDed these darlings, they’re a tad worn and a little big small but designer shoes are still designer shoes.
Nude Louboutins (Gotta get the black rubber heel bits replaced)
Black chain Lanvins (the bottoms quite worn and they’re surprisingly heavy but they look so good!)
Have you bought/acquired anything awesome lately?

PS. My laptop’s got a virus! So I’ve moved everything onto the desktop and it’s just not the same
It’ll take a day or two for me to re-adjust to Vista after using 7.
PPS. Like my drawing?

I’m really looking forward to seeing what you do with the blazer – I think it’s going to be spectacular
And those Lanvin ballet flats with the chains? TO DIE FOR!
Xx
Those are such great finds for savers, I haven’t been in for a long time I don’t like the smell (mothballs and nanas LOL) And those Louboutins! Too delightful really, though I would say change the black grips back to gum coloured like they would’ve orginally.
Laptop trouble is the worst! But what a great finds! I just scored a pair of crazy wedges from United Nude, Leopard wedges (do I see a connection?) from Surface to Air, Freja Boots from Alexander Wang, a cardi from Rika and a blouse from the same brand, plus a sweater from Lanvin. All on sale (at least 50% off). Wish we had a Savers like you! Those shoes are to die for!
I liked the cape you designed! You should make more!!!
This is my first time visit and I loved it. I’ll be back ;-D

Love the nude heels. They will be staples for years!
I would like to see what you do with the jacket. I’ve been looking for a black one with a white trim but haven’t found one to my liking.
