Mimco: An Unpredictable Revolution
August 15, 2010 § 19 Comments
Not too long ago Mimco launch Part Deux of the ‘An Unpredictable Revolution’ collection featuring the beautiful Emma Balfour. I was lucky enough to be selected and sent one of their delightful pieces! This collection is the story torn from the pages of a dark debutante’s diary…Taking inspiration from the 1700s – 1800s, it embodies the romance and darkness of the era. This is one of the stories:
‘Darkness Becomes Her’
There once lived a curious, carefree, girl. The kind to wear super colourful outfits, wore plaits and walk around with grazed knees. One day she stumbled upon a book…
But my oh my! It wasn’t just a book, there was something hidden inside!
There was a pouch, a sealed letter, a key and a picture of a beautiful girl!
She then opened the pouch to see a beautiful necklace of tangled stones and chain. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen!
But little did she know this necklace had magical powers when she put it on. With a swish and a swosh…s
She was transformed!
Her old colourful clothes were gone, and in their place was a long flowing black velvet gown and suede shoes. Lipstick magically appeared on her lips.
It an unpredictable revolution, and she liked it
Fin.
Thanks mimco
! Everyone, go, check out the gorgeous collection and experience the unpredictable revolution for yourselves!

Bwah ha ha ha! This was really awesome Angela – I think you’ve done a really great job, and that gown you’ve made – GORGEOUS!
:3
I have to say though, I find the name of the collection sort of dumb. Aren’t revolutions, by their very nature, unpredictable?
Xx
