“oh, I made this”
December 16, 2010 § 28 Comments
For me, that is my favourite thing to say when discribing my outfit. Filled with pride, telling people that I designed or made something just makes it so much more awesome than saying it’s bought (whether it’s $10000 or $1)! I’ve been slack with outfit posts not because I’ve been walking around in my nudie pants but because I’ve been having problems with my camera SD card and it persists on needing to be formatted, flushing out all its contents. Incredibly annoying and excruciating when I’ve just taken heaps of pictures! Fortunately over the last month I’ve gathered enough for a post.

Oh, I can definitely imagine the joy you get from saying it’s your own design. What an amazing opportunity! I really like the blazer you’ve got on! Your mom’s got good taste!
And just want to let you know that another one of your requested models has been featured on my blog!

Loving all the outfits

I love the jacket in the first picture!
You should always be proud of what you make. I make my own jewellery sometimes and people ask where I got the pieces, I’m always proud to say that I made it.
I always have my SD card full, argh! I usually put all my photos on my external hard drive but sometimes I can’t be bothered doing that so I have to keep deleting photos from my camera. XD
<3 youve got such a knack for putting printed suff together and not making it look like some like of playschool disaster. and you make the all neutral outfit look exciting and not bland. hate you! lol jks.

I love all your looks. I really really want a Lace dress, I am on the hunt for one right now and yours is perfect!!
It’s also a really awesome feeling when someone asks where you got something and you say; “Oh, it’s from the Salvation Army.” And then you smile and walk away from their ‘pleather’ jacket ass.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! The third dress is still stunning as ever, and I love those wine pumps.
Wuv, B.
Great outfits, I love them all. You are so talented. Great name! xxx
You are so talented! I love the white lace dress the best. It’s so sweet.

I wish I could make clothes. These peices are fantastic, you should be proud.
As for the pen, cotton on has a section in the shop now called “typo” and they have all kinds of funky things. I would buy the whole section if I could fit it all in my room haha.
That last dress looks stunning on, paired with the blazer and the melissa is just perfect.
omg
LOVE LOVE LOVE the outfit in the top pics! the stars mixed with florals! FANTASTIC!

You’re just so friggin’ talented! I love your outfit! And it’s great that you’re one to make clothes rather than buy them. It’s a sense of fulfillment.
Absolutely love the cape!!
Beautiful! and you always make amazing dresses.
The lace one is very nice!!
Haha, i can only imagine how awesome it would be to be able to say that! I had that SD card problem for a while too, but for some reason, only on my computer, but it would work perfectly fine on my netbook?! Ended up just formatting it a few times and it’s back to normal now.
Btw – how comfortable (or not) are Louboutins?
they’re alright, depending on the style. Most are lightly padded
I wish that I was talented enough to sew my own clothing – and you’ve created some gorgeous dresses! I love the maroon one with the blue cape wowee. You should sell some of these, I’d totally be up for buying that dress!@

To stylista, thank you for saying I have good taste. Did you know what Angela said to me when a while ago one day she come my closet said: Mum you could wear that when you are 65 years old.” HaHaHa, now she changed her mind…..
