New Designs: Black and White

November 26, 2011 § 6 Comments

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time without school but I’m finding that interviews and pre-assessments for Uni is proving to be more hectic than school it self! However, I have paid a well-earned visit to my favourite craft and fabric stores and whipped some designs up. Black and white ‘illusions’ dressTweed cropped jacket with bow and matching skirtBlack felt, grosgrain and pearl collarJudging by these you’d think I’d taken a trip down monochrome / corporate lane but fear not there’s another post coming up with more colourful and youthful designs coming up!

I’ve really taken a liking to wearing cardigans and jackets around my shoulders haven’t I? It almost feels unnatural now to actually “put my arms through it like normal person” hahaWhite lace peter-pan collar tee: My Own Design Stretch sateen skirt: My Own Design ‘?’ Necklace: Gifted Bangle: eBay Ring: ASOS Blazer: Online Jeweled heel mary janes: LFDM Studded Bag: Styleholic

Exams 1,2 and 3

“Not saying I will but if I were to ever fail a subject, I’d at least want to look good doing so” was my mantra for the whole of year 12. I’m proud to say even on my worst days I never, ever went to school looking like I just rolled out of bed (or so I was told) Fashion is so uplifting, even if I pulled an allnighter sketching or revising I didn’t let it show by turning up to school looking like I did.

Guys- it happened, I caved and bought some pointed pumps. Fear not, they’re more Ulyana Sergeenko than ‘your-average-9-5-pump’. The block croc heel and padded sole makes them so comfy to wear, NOT to mention how much I love the cobalt and  the just right amount of toe cleavage (yeah, I went there). Obviously if they came in almond or rounded toe versions I would have happily passed out right there and then but sadly (or not) they don’t.

One last bit of winter

November 6, 2011 § Leave a comment

Winter peeped its head around for one last time, and I LOVED IT! So much that I wore all my favourite fall colours at onceHow cool is the caged wedge?

I may have gone a little nuts with my buying of tights but exams make me stressed and online shopping has proven to be a pretty good form of therapy. Not to mention how nice is it to pop the shipping bubble wraps and packaging.Cashmere sweater: Mum’s Alpine print dress: My own design Belt: Borrowed Wedges: Sitong Leaf brooch: eBay Studded bag: Styleholic Earrings:  Online
