Thinking that finishing exams meant getting to blog more frequently was a big mistake! I have been caught up with reordering my university preferences and work. However I am happy to report all my studying paid of and I’ve received a fantastic ATAR, and 2 study scores(although called scores, are actually ranks) over 40, placing me in the top 9% for English Language (linguistics) and Visual Communications. My school again placed at the top of the state with the highest percentage of study scores over 40! Unfortunately even after all that + the pre-selections and interviews I didn’t receive an early offer at my number one preference so now I face the great conundrum of typical students at my school: Monash vs Melbourne University. For me, its Interior Architecture vs Commerce… Don’t fret- I haven’t given up on fashion, I never will, designing will be my goal no matter what course I pursue.

“oh, I made this”

For me, that is my favourite thing to say when discribing my outfit. Filled with pride, telling people that I designed or made something just makes it so much more awesome than saying it’s bought (whether it’s $10000 or $1)! I’ve been slack with outfit posts not because I’ve been walking around in my nudie pants but because I’ve been having problems with my camera SD card and it persists on needing to be formatted, flushing out all its contents. Incredibly annoying and excruciating when I’ve just taken heaps of pictures! Fortunately over the last month I’ve gathered enough for a post.

Bordeaux Lace Skirt

I was in love with Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring summer 10 collection, the underwear as outerwear, lace and net combination sent me into a frenzy.
Source: style.com
After extensive searching, I’m still looking for a perfect underwear as outerwear body suit but I have found a perfect lace skirt! Well to be more precise, in true Angela fashion, I made it!.
It’s the piece I’ve made since my LBD! I’ve been stuck under the avalanche of homework and because of setting and packing up time involved in sewing it’s not something I can do everyday anymore. I was so excited, I decided to wear it today!
With a cashmere cardigan, simple tee, Mimco necklace, Lanvin chain flats, Alex Wang Coco, simple watch and ring!
Get ready for next weekend folks, because I’m having a wardrobe cleanout! I’m not sure whether to just do it all on ebay or just use my blog. What do you think? Also! I might be doing a little tweaking and ASAB might go under the knife for a facelift or some botox, a brighter, more simple layout could do both you (as readers) and me some good.

PS. Why yes, I did get a haircut! 2.5 inches off and it’s also been thinned out, such a relief! It actually use to hurt my neck when wet it in the shower, that’s how insanely thick my hair was! But I also sort of miss it, just a tad
Black and white bonanza and a sneaky dash of red
