Guys- it happened, I caved and bought some pointed pumps. Fear not, they’re more Ulyana Sergeenko than ‘your-average-9-5-pump’. The block croc heel and padded sole makes them so comfy to wear, NOT to mention how much I love the cobalt and the just right amount of toe cleavage (yeah, I went there). Obviously if they came in almond or rounded toe versions I would have happily passed out right there and then but sadly (or not) they don’t.

One last bit of winter

Winter peeped its head around for one last time, and I LOVED IT! So much that I wore all my favourite fall colours at once
How cool is the caged wedge?
I may have gone a little nuts with my buying of tights but exams make me stressed and online shopping has proven to be a pretty good form of therapy. Not to mention how nice is it to pop the shipping bubble wraps and packaging.

Glitzy animalia

Like I’ve previously stated I’m not huge on jewellery, I’ve got my favourite pieces that I wear day to day and that’s pretty much all, especially since I can’t wear visible jewellery to school - everything else stays in their allocated box and only see the light of day (or night) once every few weeks. Last year I bought my friend Lisa a ‘leopard’ bracelet and ever since I’ve been earning for one myself, thinking how easily they can transform an outfit. Reading about/seening the Bulgari serpent watches I started hunting for an animal themed piece of jewellery. Finally a few weeks ago I found the PERFECT store online that stocks similar cuffs/bracelets. I couldn’t help myself, I bought 4… oh and a pair of earrings were thrown in for good measure…

My favourite (right now)
Gecko/Lizard how cute!

Gorgeous pearls
Beautiful, but after trying them on, they’re a little too… mature.

A friend to all is a friend to none

That’s what I’ve learnt this week. Although you try and try to please everybody, you can’t make someone like you or sometimes you just drift a part. So, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. There’s nothing better than spending a day with your friends, laughing uncontrollably down the street, eating real Italian food at Pellegrinis, and spending hours at the bead shop to make you forget about the horrid week you’ve had. It’s probably not very interesting giving you a play by play so let the picture speak a thousand words.
It’s probably been ages since I’ve worn flats on a weekend, and it felt weird, not hearing that ‘click click’ when you walk down the street (or have blisters when you get home).

“Boredom is talent wasted” I saw this on a motivational website and immediately motivated me, so I made some ear rings from the trinkets I picked up from the bead shop. I’ve never really been an ‘earring’ person, I mainly stick to studs and pearls but I just couldn’t resist these adorable little cuties.

Also, here’s a little teaser of some of the headbands you’ll see in the coming weeks:

How was your weekend dears?
