Chanel was so disappointing, but every few seasons Chanel does a shockingly fantastic collection and you fall right back in love with it. Maybe Karl’s starting to feel the Finacial Crash? Mehh probably not, it’s not a very Lagerfeld thing to do… Still… very disappointing, I know consistency is good but this was all quite plain; the coat dresses, satin pants and tweed suits. Well ok the printed, lycra body suits were a tad weird… in a bad way. -sigh-

I am in such deep lust with this collection, it is so amazing. Christophe Decarnin delivered another stunning collection, even though it is scarily similar to last season but I loved last season and will (or am) love this one, I’m so happy he stuck with his ‘signature shape’: the big shoulders, short hemlines, sparking fabrics all screamed “NOW!” Actually there is one thing I’m not happy with; the hair and makeup. I’m kind of bored of that look, with such strong clothes he need some stronger makeup! Someone help him! Pat? Gucci?

There’s really not much you can say about something that’s so amazing. I am in love with everything (except for the leggings), but this reminds me of the first time I feel in love with Gucci, it was about 3-4 years ago (ok the ss06 collection) and I was really more obsessed than in love. And I’m getting the same vibe from this collection too, the dark colors, the slicked hair and the ‘über cool sunglasses’. Ahh, you have to love Frida!
Again, LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!

was thoroughly disappointed with this whole collection. The DVF I knew and LOVED was colourful, ‘garden party-ish’ and above all very polished. But this? What’s with the dark gloomy colours? Where are the wrap dresses? Has DVF really sunk to the ‘hobo chic’/'getting dressed blindfolded look? WHY THE LEGGINGS?? Has Diane and that little man gone over to ‘the dark side’? Oh and, pom poms? Pom Poms? POM POMS? POM POMS IN YOUR HAIR?
I want the old DVF backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
